Introducing a slow feeder
Start with your pet's normal portion and place the bowl on a stable surface. Let your pet explore it without rushing. Monitor the first few meals to make sure eating remains comfortable.
Adding a lick mat
Spread a thin layer of a suitable pet-safe food across the mat. Use it on a clean, stable surface and supervise initial sessions. Do not allow your pet to chew the mat.
- Wash both products according to their care instructions.
- Inspect them regularly for cracks, tears, or other damage.
- Replace damaged items instead of continuing to use them.
